Personal Statement

I am a certified exercise physiologist with 15 years of experience. I received a Ph.D. in Health and Rehabilitation Science, studying the association between cardiovascular and functional limitations and the effects of exercise on this relationship. I became curious about the impact of exercise on the brain; thus, my current research focuses on the effects of exercise on cerebrovascular function in older adults at risk for Alzheimer's disease and related dementia.
