Personal Statement

Joy Stradford, M.S. is a clinical research coordinator at the University of California, San Diego Health (UCSD Health) Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS). She manages two clinical trials examining the impact of healthy lifestyle modifications on brain health in older adults. Joy is interested in race disparities in Alzheimer's Disease and ultimately aspires to become a clinical neuropsychologist.

Personal Statement

I am the Ann Adelmann Perkins and John S. Perkins Professor of Alzheimer's Disease Prevention and Associate Director of the Mesulam Center for Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. I direct three research programs: 1) Neuropsychology and Neuroimaging of Aging and Dementia, 2) an international Primary Progressive Aphasia Research Program that includes a telemedicine non-pharmacological intervention, and 3) a multicenter SuperAging Research Initiative.
